| MACHINE DESCRIPTION |
| Galvanometric movement system |
the laser beam is driven by a galvanometric system composed of two mirrors that allow working at high speed and are capable of marking up to 450 characters a second. |
|
| Ribbon Feed |
adjustable length controlled by a step motor. |
| Drawer |
This allows the processing of individual pieces (optional) and is particularly suitable for processing leather labels and samples. |
| Laser source |
laser source completely sealed CO2 gas laser source; this is the latest technology available on the market. It allows constant laser power control and because of its reliability and long life of 45,000 hours of operation(www.synrad.com/products/48-series.htm), it is suitable
also for working long shifts and does not require continuous replacement of the external
gas cylinders. |
| Precision |
automatic centring on both the X and the Y axis is assured by exclusive software that operates with 2 photocells, allowing maximum precision for each single “job” keeping constant the production speed. |
| Removable track |
helps support large labels during cutting operation (optional). |
| Cutting outline |
The cutting outline can be created using all graphic programs(1) that produce files in vector and bitmap format (.hpgl, .plt, .eps, .bmp, .jpeg, etc.). These files can be transferred from the programs to the machine by means of 3.5” floppy disks, USB Memory Sticks or direct connection via LAN.
(1) Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand. |
| Setting storage |
The processed drawings can be stored on the machine, making them instantly available with the settings stored, ready for future orders. The outlines are stored together with a text file in which the operator can write notes and comments. All the data is stored on a double hard disk in “mirroring storage” so as to assure maximum reliability of subsequent file retrieval. The multi-language operator interface software is easy to use and very intuitive. |
| Water chiller |
keeps the temperature of the laser source stable, keeping performance constant assuring constant production. |
| Motorised ribbon unwinder |
an automatic stop when no material is present. |
| Laminating Unit - Rewinder |
self-adhesive material can be applied to the back of the ribbon before cutting (optional). |
